How do I book a test at Meridian?
Walk into any of our 4 locations during opening hours, book online at our booking page, call (876) 618-0552, or message us on WhatsApp. No physician referral is required for most tests.
What is the appointment process?
If you walk in, our team will register you, take payment, draw your sample and send you home. If you book online or by phone, you'll get a confirmation message with your time slot, location and any preparation notes (such as fasting). Most visits take 10–15 minutes from check-in to draw.
When will I get my results?
Most routine results — Full Blood Count, lipid panels, liver and kidney function, urinalysis — are ready in 24–48 hours and delivered to your secure patient portal. Specialty tests such as hormones, tumour markers and certain STI panels may take 3–5 business days.
Where are Meridian's locations?
Our main processing lab is at 11A Young Street, Spanish Town, St. Catherine. We have additional collection sites in Kingston, Portmore and a second Kingston branch. See the Locations page for directions to each.
Is parking available?
Yes — every Meridian location has on-site or adjacent parking for patients. The Spanish Town main lab has a dedicated patient lot.
What languages do you speak?
Our team speaks English and Jamaican Patois. All written results, portal explanations and intake forms are provided in English.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is needed for most tests at Meridian. You can choose tests directly from our pricing page and we will run them. If you have a physician's request form, bring it along and we'll follow it.
